Texas Longhorn Tickets – Get Ready To Watch the Action
The much awaited time of the year is back. Texas Longhorn tickets are on sale again. But, before we go further into it, let’s take a sneak peak into who are Texas Longhorns and why they are so popular? The extramural and intramural sports teams of The University of Texas at Austin make up the Texas Longhorns athletics programs. The sports teams are nicknamed as Longhorns or Horns. The name was taken from the Longhorn cattle, which was a significant part of the development in Texas. Their official mascot is called Bevo.
The popularity of the Texas Longhorn sports teams can be judged by the fact that over the years they have won more than 45 national championships, out of which many are NCAA national championships. The University of Texas fields a varsity team in diverse men’s and women’s sports. Men’ sports include baseball, cross country, basketball, football, golf, tennis, swimming and diving.
